1. Accreditation of representatives of the media (hereinafter referred to as the media) to the
WAW International Forum (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) is carried out in order to provide the necessary conditions for the professional activities of media representatives in the preparation and dissemination of complete and reliable information about Forum events.
2. Accreditation of media representatives is carried out as per the Law of the Russian Federation “On the Media” and these Rules to ensure mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as to streamline the work of media representatives during the Forum.
3. Accreditation of media representatives is required for working at all Forum events.
4. Representatives of Russian media registered with the Federal Supervisory Service for Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications (Roskomnadzor) as per the Law of the Russian Federation “On the Media” have the right to accreditation, as do representatives of foreign media registered as per their national legislation.
5. Persons who are not representatives of the media, as well as representatives of advertising publications, catalogues, Internet portals of a commercial nature, reference information or highly specialized topics not related to the Forum, do not have the right to media accreditation.
6. The Forum Organizing Committee has the right to refuse accreditation to media representatives who have provided false or inaccurate information about themselves or their media outlets, have not completed the accreditation procedure within the established time frame, or who have violated the rules for working at the event.
7. Media representatives wishing to take part in covering the Forum events submit an application for accreditation (hereinafter referred to as the Application) through the official website of the Forum. In the Application, you must fill in all the fields on the accreditation form. An application filled out incompletely or with errors will not be considered.
8. Accreditation of media representatives begins two months and ends five days before the opening of the Forum.
9. Badges are issued to media representatives at the registration desk at the Forum venue if they have confirmed accreditation in the Forum database, present a passport and an editorial ID or an official letter on media letterhead with an editorial assignment. The badge is personal and may not be transferred to third parties during the Forum.
10. Accredited media representatives have the right to:
- Use all services designed for the work of the media, including the infrastructure capabilities of the Forum press centre;
- Receive information about Forum events (press releases, programme, etc.);
- Be present at open events, unless entry by media representatives is limited by security requirements or the capacity of the site;
- Attend briefings, press conferences, press scrums, roundtables and other events specially organized for the media;
- Take photos and videos of events at the Forum venue.
11. Accredited media representatives shall:
- When using official information and quoting statements from Forum participants, follow the rules governing work by journalists at the Forum in terms of the Policy of Mentions, namely: finished materials must contain a mention of the WAW International Forum, the source of the information received and/or contain a link to the Forum website, if the information is taken from the site;
- When receiving information from Forum participants and officials, inform them about audio and video recording, filming and photography;
- Ensure reliability of information;
- Observe the rules governing entry control, safety precautions and rules for maintaining public order when visiting the Forum;
- Present, on request, when carrying out professional activities, an editorial ID or other document proving the journalist’s identity and authority;
- Suspend (stop) photo/video filming at the request of representatives of the Forum organizers, press centre and/or security service;
- Not to distribute printed materials at the Forum venue without the consent of the organizers.
